US Leaders, Democrats and Republicans Alike, Outraged By China's $30 Billion Defense Budget
The US spends over $400 billion a year. And they have bases on every continent, invade a country every three or four years, occupy Iraq, have a treaty with a run away province of China's, have a base in Cuba.....

I agree with much of what you post on this site.
However.
To refer to Taiwan as a "runaway province of China's" is an unfortunate choice of nomenclature.
Do you support the native Formosan's right of self determination? I doubt it. In the 1860's the southern part of the United States said it would leave. Lincoln and others said if you do this we will destroy you, and they did. Taiwan was created as an anti-communist enclave and was supported by imperialist countries not because they believed in the rights of self-determination for people in Taiwan but because of the Cold War. And it was a Fascist state to boot. Run away province was generous.
